What we did:

  1. Used a fake ChatGPT to pose some questions and experiment with its possibilities-we asked it to design a hungry snake game using html and it worked, albeit with some bugs.
  2. We built the robot head from the parts in the bag
  3. Using Flags Blocks coding app, we coded the ESP8266 D1 Mini technology (i don’t know the correct term) to light up occasionally and also nod and shake its head. This was a very difficult part.
  4. We began creating the bodies of our robots.

What I felt and learned

  1. I realized it was really difficult to bridge the gap between software and hardware, and actually understood the intricacy and patience required.
  2. I felt frustrated sometimes when I couldn’t get something right, but usually, I figured it out.
  3. I learned how the D1 mini works, including I/O outlets, LEDs, 5V, G and many other aspects of it.
